Vinyasa Techniques of Integration

May 25, 2018

Most students of yoga will encounter the practice of vinyasa flow at some point during their yoga journey. It is one of the most widely practiced styles of yoga in the world today, taking its roots from the more traditional Ashtanga Yoga of Sri K Pattabhi Jois. Key elements of vinyasa practice draw on the breath, the drishti (point of focus), the mula (an energetic root lock) and intelligent movement to weave together a practice that is dynamic, yet incredibly mindful at the same time. Experience and understand what it really means to vinyasa flow. In this workshop, Julie breaks down and details the elements of vinyasa flow yoga using the sequences of Edward Clark's Tripsichore (trip-sic-uh-ree) Yoga, which has been at the forefront of the vinyasa flow experiment and education for over three decades. For curious students and teachers hungry to level-up their practice, you will be mesmerised by the smart discourse on how yogic philosophical ideas play out both in technique and in the meaning of life.
