Children learn best through movement and action. Yoga is a great way for children to develop important skills in a playful and non-competitive environment.

This class offers a supportive atmosphere to encourage your little ones to relax and have fun while they develop not only strength, coordination, flexibility and balance, but also body awareness, better focus and concentration, creativity and self-confidence. Through connection to movement and each other, children can learn complex concepts and have fun at the same time. Classes interweave themes, songs, games and poses, allowing children to learn in a multi-sensory environment.

The practice of postures and mindfulness exercises will allow the children to develop better attention to their breathing and to their body. Children will know and integrate tools to manage the stress of everyday life, get a better grasp on exams period… all together in a fun way where they move at their own pace and always feel successful.

Jacqueline received her Kids Yoga training in 2014 with Rainbow Kids Yoga and has been teaching yoga to children ages 2 – 16 in Laos until she moved to Yangon earlier this year. A mom with three kids of her own, Jak loves sharing in  the playfulness of yoga and the opportunity it gives her to see the world from their eyes.
